"The Evil Empire has begun...LOL!!!!" by Ronald Carthen

LeBron James has begun the most evil era in the history of the NBA. LeBron, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh all on the same court with the same uniform is going to be insane. I can't think of a better way for LeBron to announce he was going to the Heat the way he did it. I feel bad for the city of Cleveland but this was the best way to announce he's going to make history.

I enjoyed watching how LeBron showed no remorse on moving on and playing with the Heat, not to mention he only contact the Heat before the decision was made. He didn't even give Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert a call before the announcement, now that was funny to me. If you were in LeBron's shoes would you stay in Cleveland with a roster that doesn't have a chance to help him win a title or go start a dream team that can win championships in the future. He is the most hated athlete in all of sports, but he has to do what's best for his family and his LeBron brand.

LeBron will play for a better team but I never want to see anyone compare him to Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan ever again. LeBron's legacy was over once he decided he was heading with D Wade and Bosh. You all know this will be D Wade's team and LeBron will just be another ball player that will help draw plenty of tickets. It was obvious that LeBron didn't care about any of that and just wants to win championships. I respect that, but you can't say you are your own man anymore.

I thought Dan Gilbert had plenty of guts going off on LeBron when he made his decision. He even told the Associated Press that LeBron quit on the Cavs in Game 2, 4, 5, and 6 of the series against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. In his letter to the fans, he said the Cavs will win a champioship before the self-titled former "King" ever will. He even went on and said the curse of Cleveland sports will follow him to Miami. Gilbert I can't wait until LeBron comes to Cleveland and destroy your Cavs. They should make that an opening night game in the NBA.

We will all be a witness next year as few fans will show some love to the Heat, while many are ready to spread the hate. I can't wait to see how people will jump on the Heat bandwagon and jump right off if things go wrong.

LeBron better get ready to be the most hated man on the planet. It's going to be a great 2010-11 NBA season and I can't wait to witness history once the Miami Big Three steps onto the courty. Get ready everybody because it's going to be a show.
