Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao...Finally?????!!!!!! by Ronald Carthen

I told you right here on our site that Floyd Mayweather would beat Shane Mosley by a unanimous decision. I'll admit Shane gave Floyd some big shots in the second round and I was nervous, but Floyd went to work on 38-year old Shane through the rest of the fight and improved to 41-0 and taking that cash. Now can we please get "Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao"? Wait a minute it could actually happen sometime soon.

Manny Pacquiao, the WBO World Welterweight champion and The Ring World Junior Welterweight champion, watch the Mayweather-Mosley fight and was very impressed with his possible future opponent. After the fight, he says he's willing to take the Olympic-style random blood testing as long as the testing has a cutoff date of 24 days.

The only problem with that decision is Mayweather and Pacquiao went down this road before. Pacman wanted a 24-day cutoff while both fighters were negotiating the fight. Mayweather wanted him to take a 14-day cutoff before they fight.

Mayweather please do us a favor and let the No. 1 pound-for-pound best fighter in the world get his wish and let this fight happen. You know how much you want to get paid and you know you'll have a record pay day and pay-per-view buys. You are not going to let this drug testing stop you from feeding your family will you. Seriously it's time to get this fight done before everyone thinks you are ducking Pacman and you are scared to fight him.

I've said it time and time again we all deserve better when it comes to the sport of boxing. Pacquiao's fight with Joshua Clottey at Cowboys Stadium back in March was a disgrace and Mayweather's fight with Mosley was entertaining, but it wasn't a classic and it didn't deserve to have a $60.00 value on PPV ($70.00 in HD).

Both of these guys better come to a conclusion and get this deal done. No more warm up PPV fights and no more no names. It's time to give fans what they finally want, a real boxing event.
