"Magic ready to do the NBA Unthinkable" by Ronald Carthen

I told all of you that the Orlando Magic will force a Game 6 against the Celtics and now I'm telling you the they will force a Game 7. The Magic have found a new confidence in themselves and will bring it to Boston on Friday.

First of all let me thank the NBA for rescinding one of Kendrick Perkins technical fouls and will allow him to play in Game 6. All Perkins did was walk away from a foul call and referree Eddie F. Rush decides to call a second technical and was ejected from the game with 36.1 seconds left in the half. Eddie should be suspended for his poor actions but as long as Kendrick is playing on Friday, it's fine with me. If Kendrick had seven techs, he would have been suspended for Game 6, thankfully the league made the right decision to take one of his techs away from last night.

Okay let's talk about the game last night. Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson are not ready to clean out their lockers and begin their summer vacations. Dwight was focused from the start and was ready to dunk and block anybody's shot at will. I enjoyed the play when he bumped into Paul Pierce and dunked the ball while Pierce was laying on his back and thought he would get a foul call. He finished the game with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks. This was his fourth career-playoff game with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks. Before I begin with Jameer, I can't believe Dwight got away with his elbow shot with Glen Davis, which caused him to get a concussion. Take a look at this real quick everybody.

Alright let's get to Nelson playing his heart out in the pick n' roll and wasn't afraid to go in the hole and make some baskets. He drop 24 points and shot 4-of-5 three-pointers to help the team shoot 13-for-25 from beyond the arc. He's looking much better then Rajon Rondo in this series in the last couple of games. If he keeps this up in this series, the Celtics are in trouble.

I'm very concerned about Kevin Garnett in this series. With Glen Davis, who could be out with a concussion, and Rasheed Wallace with issues with his back, you can't expect KG to help Perkins defend Dwight with a possible bad ankle or leg injury. He's only averaging 10.0 points and shooting 37% in this series. You can tell he's having trouble running up and down the court. He played only 29 minutes in his last game and the Celtics are going to need him at some point.

Paul Pierce was no where in this game. He drop 18 points on only 3-for-8 from the field. I was very nervous when he was holding his shoulder when Dwight knocked him down to the floor, but thankfully he gave up his acting skills to pretend he was hurt and finished playing the game. He's been slipping since he missed back-to-back three-pointers towards the end of Game 4 and he has to find his offensive rhythm or it'll be a long Game 6 at home.

If Pierce is on his "A" game and Rasheed Wallace drop another 21 points like he did in this game, the Celtics can't lose on Friday. I couldn't believe he that many points on 7-for-9 shooting. Rajon Rondo played well with 19 points, but it's not his fault he dishes the ball to the players and their not confident with their shot.

Like I said the Magic will force a Game 7 and can possibly make history as the only NBA team to come back down 0-3 in a series.
