UFC 113 Preview...The Rematch of the Year!!!!! by Ronald Carthen

The Floyd Mayweather-Shane Mosley fight was good, but it won't be as exciting as UFC 113 as the Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida (16-0) will give Mauricio "Shogun" Rua the rematch he deserves when they square off for the title on Saturday. I also can't wait to see the Welterweight No.1 contender's match as Josh Koscheck will face Paul "Semtex" Daley and Kimbo Slice's first UFC Pay-Per-View as he faces Matt Mitrione. Here are my predicitions for this event and get ready for these fights to explode at Montreal.

Lyoto Machida will learn from his mistakes and retain the Light Heavyweight Title!!!!!

I'm really looking forward to this rematch between both Machida and Shogun. Let's be honest, Shogun was robbed from his last fight with "The Dragon" in October. How the judges scored Machida the winner by unanimous decision to keep the title is still a surprise to me. Shogun's leg kicks destroyed Lyoto's ability to leap and strike his fighters. I think Machida will be a lot smarter in this contest and use his karate to shut down Shogun's Muay Thai Style attack. Machida will have to find a way to put Shogun on the ground to slow him down instead of taking his chances to take some big punches to the face. Shogun is great and should have won the last fight, but I think "The Dragon" will be unleashed and will win by split decision, despite the fact that Shogun never loses a rematch.

Paul Daley will be the next opponent for the Welterweight title!!!!!

I know Kosccheck is the favorite into this fight because of his great take down and great grappling attack but I've seen crazy things happen before in the octogan. I think Daley's trash talking towards Koscheck will give him the confidence he needs instead of getting what he deserves. Daley compared Koscheck to a Jim Henson puppet and even questioned his sexual preference. All it matters is what happens in the cage. Daley's hooks are so dangerous and Koscheck is going to have a hard time fighting him standing up. Koscheck better put Daley on the ground for most of the fight or it will be a quick and easy fight. The only way Koscheck will win this fight is by submission or by decision, but Daley will knock him out in the second round and will move on to face Georges St. Pierre for the Welterweight title.

Kimbo Slice will win in this Ultimate Fighter Alumni match!!!!!

The last time we saw both Kimbo and Mitrione, they had some impressive wins in the Ultimate Fighter finale. Kimbo defeated Houston Alexander by unanimous decision and Mitrione knocked out Marcus "Big Baby" Jones in the second round. Now they'll meet in their first ever UFC PPV. Both heavyweights do a great job fighting straight up but I'm impressed by both fighters ground game, especially how Kimbo has improved since losing to Roy Nelson during the Ultimate Fighter on the ground and took it to Alexander on the ground. The biggest question to me about this fight will be Kimbo's endurance. I've seen Kimbo get tired in the third round and claw his way to a victory with no enough gas left in the tank. If the fight heads to a third round, I expect Mitrione to go after him very quickly and get enough points or knock him out. Mitrione is the favorite but I'm going with the underdog in this one as well. Kimbo will win by unanimous decision and I can't wait to see him continue to improve in the UFC.
