Lakers vs Celtics NBA Finals???? We are halfway there!!!!! by Ronald Carthen

Can both of these series hurry up already so we can see the Lakers and the Celtics in the NBA Finals. We may not get Kobe vs LeBron, but we will see Kobe ready to strike and get his revenge on the Celtic Big 3. For now we have to get settle for two Game 3 matchups in the Eastern and Western Conference Finals. Let's see if the Orlando Magic can steal one or take two in Boston or will Paul Pierce live up to his promise that it will end in Boston. Let's see how lucky the Lakers are in Phoenix this weekend against the Suns. Come on Amar'e Stoudimire you already know you don't need luck to be as good as the Lakers. Check out my preview and enjoy a great weekend of basketball. Plus my thoughts on Chris Bosh's wish list,  Delonte West and LeBron James' mother sleeping with each other and a sad story out of the NBA Draft Combine.

The Celtics need to finish the Magic season in Boston!!!!!!

Paul Pierce and the Celtics need to continue to stomp on the Magic's confidence and take advantage of playing on their homecourt. I'm still surprised that these guys took the first two games in Orlando. Pierce is having an amazing series against the Magic. He's averaging 25.0 points and shooting 58% from the field and 50% from the three-point line. Matt Barnes is going to defend him in Game 3 but I don't think that'll be the enough to stop "The Truth."

Rajon Rondo is winning the point guard battle over Jameer Nelson and he's officially my third-best point guard in the NBA. In Game 2, he dropped 25 points on 10-of-16 shooting and eight assists. Rondo continues to prove he is ready to take over this team day after day.

Dwight Howard's 30 points and 8 rebounds performance in Game 2 was great, but too bad it wasn't enough to help the Magic even the series. I'm afraid that Dwight needs worry about the refs this in Boston. You know the whistles are ready to blow any moment that he is ready to foul or love tap someone. If he thought it was bad in Charlotte, it could be a lot worse in Boston with so many bigs around him to piss him off.

Can somebody please help Rashard Lewis get back in his offensive rhythm. He's only averaging 5.5 points and only shooting 1-of-9 from three-point range. Somebody better find there confidence very soon, especially when you are getting paid over $18 million this season.

Like I said the Lakers will win in 5 or it could end sooner!!!!!!

I knew this series would be easy for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. How can the Suns allow the Lakers to score a total of 252 points in two games is absurd.

Kobe scores 40 points in Game 1 and then in Game 2 the Suns thought they can double-team and get better results. Instead he gets a career playoff-high 13 assists and drops 21 points in another easy win. He has averaged 30.5 points, 9.0 assists, and shooting 51% from the field and 44% from three-point range. The Suns can't stop this guy play and simple. Ask Grant Hill when he thought his career was over when Kobe broke his ankles.

The Suns are having a lot of trouble stopping Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. I can't remember an NBA Playoffs that Pau has made his baskets look so easy. He is averaging 25.0 points and shooting 65% from the field. I guess Lamar is looking very lucky Amar'e Stoudimire. When you drop back-to-back double-doubles and average 18.0 points and 15.0 rebounds in this series. Amar'e don't say another word until you step your game up.

Speaking of Amar'e I know you are averaging 20.5 points on 55% shooting, but when you lose that doesn't matter. How can you say Lamar is lucky when you have only have a total of nine rebounds while Lamar has 30 rebounds in this series. Why are you so scared to crash the boards you are a big man.

I'll give Steve Nash credit for averaging 14.0 assists but it's time to get a little selfish on the offensive end. Nash is only averaging 12.0 points in this series and it's time for him to takeover this series at some point. I know you are 36 years old, but I know you still have the fire in you to do it.

Jason Richardson is doing very well in this series. Richardson is averaging 21.0 points on 55% shooting and 46%  from beyond the arc. If he finds a way to continue to get involved, the Suns will be back in this series.

Chris Bosh has a wish list and what a list!!!!!

Chris Bosh gave the Raptors a wish list in case of a sign-and-trade deal. Other then Toronto, he wants to play for the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and the New York Knicks. We all know he goes to team up with LeBron or Dwyane Wade, but where will both of them go. I think Bosh will team up with LeBron if he goes to the Knicks or the Bulls but if LeBron stays in Cleveland, I think he'll go to Miami with D-Wade.

Delonte West-LeBron James' Mother Creepin' Around!!!!!

I wasn't going to say nothing until Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy confirmed that LeBron's mother Gloria James and his teammate Delonte West was sleeping together. This is just wrong on so many levels. Listen to what Calvin had to say on the radio. Delonte and Gloria should be ashamed of themselves.

Sad moment for Dexter Pittman at the NBA Draft Combine!!!!!

What a tough day for Texas Longhorns Dexter Pittman. On a week he wants to show people he can roll to best of them, he learned that his 15-year old brother Darius Johnson was shot and killed in a dispute in a garage dispute in Houston. What a tough day for Dexter and I hope he can focus on taking care of his family and he'll help him out soon.
